Greengate Biogas is at the forefront of Ireland’s renewable energy transition, with plans to develop and operate biomethane plants that transform agricultural residues into renewable gas for the national grid and organic fertilisers for local farmers. With plans to produce 1.8 TWH of biomethane annually, enough to supply nearly 30% of Ireland’s 2030 target, the company is a significant contributor to national decarbonisation efforts. Greengate Biogas is being jointly developed by CIP’s CI Advanced Bioenergy Fund I, Atlas Renewables Ltd and Energex Partners Ltd.
